KKL-JNF: Responding When Israel Needs It Most

As the war with Iran continues and missile attacks target cities and communities across Israel, many families have been forced from their homes, people are under strain, and children face disrupted routines, lost school days, and constant fear.
So far, there have been numerous direct hits causing destruction, loss of homes, and tragically, lives.

KKL-JNF is on the ground, as we have been in every war, crisis, and emergency, responding immediately to help families, strengthen communities, and provide critical support where it’s needed most.

Supporting United Hatzalah: First to Respond, Always There

KKL-JNF is proud to support United Hatzalah’s, Israel’s largest all-volunteer emergency medical organization, plan to construct a 1,200-square-meter, three-story emergency center in Sderot, that will serve tens of thousands of residents in Sderot and surrounding Gaza Envelope communities, providing a vital lifeline during both routine and emergency situations.

This center will include:

  • Fortified and missile-proof construction, ensuring uninterrupted operations during attacks
  • Israel’s second-largest Emergency Dispatch and Command Center
  • A logistics and supply hub for rapid medical response across the region
  • A volunteer headquarters and training facility to educate the next generation of responders
  • Programs and infrastructure that strengthen community resilience and trust in emergency services
  • Rapid emergency response capabilities providing local residents with safety and security

Helping Families and Communities Stay Strong

Children and families across Israel displaced by the conflict are taking part in KKL-JNF educational, recreational, and creative programs at shelters and hotels across the country. Students continue learning at KKL-JNF Houses of Excellence online and specialized programs for youth at risk and children with special needs are taking place as well. At the same time, KKL-JNF strengthens communities, supporting Be’er Sheva, Beit Shemesh, and Israel’s Druze community with improved shelters, volunteer support, and resilience-building initiatives during these complex and changing security challenges.

As the situation continues to evolve, KKL-JNF stands ready to respond wherever help is needed most – supporting families, strengthening communities, and ensuring critical resources reach those on the front lines.
Our commitment to Israel remains unwavering, helping provide safety, support, and hope – even, and especially, under fire.
Stand with Israel today and help ensure we can respond when it matters most.

A Lifeline for the Western Negev

KKL-JNF is partnering with United Hatzalah, Israel’s largest all-volunteer emergency medical organization, whose 6,500 trained medics provide immediate lifesaving care 24/7, free of charge. On October 7, more than 1,500 volunteers rushed to southern Israel, treating over 3,800 wounded and carrying out 800 hospital evacuations within days.

Today, KKL-JNF is helping support the construction of a fortified, missile-proof emergency command center in Sderot—a 1,200-square-meter facility that will house Israel’s second-largest dispatch center, serve as a logistics hub and volunteer training headquarters, and ensure rapid emergency response for tens of thousands of residents across Sderot and the Gaza Envelope.

Your support helps make this lifesaving response possible.

After making your donation, choose “Create a personalized certificate” to pick a design, write a message, and send it as a gift. If you choose not to dedicate your donation, you will still receive a certificate as a thank-you from us.

You can choose a cause or initiative, such as forestry, education, or community development, using the “More ways to give” section at the bottom of the donation page. Currently, donations support the broader initiative rather than a specific project, and KKL-JNF’s divisions allocate funds where they are needed most.
