מאז 1901 עומדת הקרן קימת לישראל (קק״ל) בלב העשייה להקמה, בנייה ושגשוג של העם היהודי בארץ ישראל – מיערות ועד פיתוח קהילתי, משימור אקולוגי ועד פעילויות חינוך ומחקר מתקדם. כיום, כאשר ישראל מתמודדת עם אתגרים סביבתיים וחברתיים הולכים וגוברים יחד עם איומים ביטחוניים, קק״ל לא מפסיקה לפעול למען קהילות, אנשים, טבע וסביבה.
אנו ממשיכים גם היום לנטוע, לשמר ולהגן על יערות ישראל מצפון לדרום; לתמוך באוכלוסיות ובקהילות פגיעות בפריפריה; להעצים נוער בסיכון ואת דור העתיד; להשקיע במחקר אקלים מתקדם ופורץ דרך, ולקדם עוד מיזמים ופרויקטים רבים שמטרתם להבטיח עתיד טוב וירוק יותר לישראל.
לאחר אירועי ה-7.10.2023 והאסון שפקד את מדינת ישראל ופרט את תושבי עוטף עזה ויישובי הגליל העליון, קיבלה משימתנו משמעות חדשה ונחישותנו רק התחזקה. שיקום היישובים והיערות שנפגעו דורש הרבה זמן, משאבים ומאמץ – זאת משימה לאומית אדירה שלא נוכל לעשות לבדנו.

Who are we?
We are Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) and since 1901, we have been developing the land of Israel and strengthening the bond between the Jewish people and its homeland. Today, KKL-JNF continues to meet Israel’s evolving needs, working with our friends worldwide to improve the country through forestry, environmental protection, combating desertification and climate change, community development, water management, ecotourism, agricultural R&D, education, and more.
