הטבע, היערות והמגוון הביולוגי הייחודי של ישראל מושפעים באופן מתמיד משינויי אקלים, גידול אוכלוסייה, הרחבה עירונית, עלייה בתיירות פנים וכמובן שריפות; כל אלה מציבים אתגרים וסכנות ממשיות, וקק״ל פועלת מדי שנה להתמודד איתם ולצמצם את השפעתם ואת הנזקים הנגרמים מהם – ולשם כך אנו זקוקים לעזרתכם כדי להמשיך לשמור על הטבע והיערות הכל כך חשובים לכולנו.
עצים ממלאים תפקיד קריטי וחשוב בהתמודדות עם אתגרים והשפעות אלו – אפילו עץ בודד אחד בעל יכולת השפעה אדירה.
כל עץ הוא בית גידול, כל יער הוא ריאה ירוקה ליישובים הסמוכים לו, וכל מערכת אקולוגית היא חיונית לשמירה על המאזן האקולוגי המספק לנו אוויר נקי, סביבה בריאה ואיכות חיים גבוהה.
נטיעת עץ משמעותית גם ברמה האישית. זוהי דרך מרגשת לציין אבני דרך חשובות בחיים, כמתנה בעלת ערך, או להנציח את האנשים והרגעים היקרים לליבנו. ניתן לנטוע עץ כדי:
- לחגוג ימי הולדת וימי נישואין

We are Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) and since 1901, we have been developing the land of Israel and strengthening the bond between the Jewish people and its homeland.
