Ensuring a Stronger Region: United Hatzalah’s New Emergency Center
KKL-JNF is proud to support United Hatzalah in constructing the new Regional Emergency Command Center in Sderot.
This isn’t just a building; it is a promise to the residents of the Western Negev that help is always within reach. This state-of-the-art, fortified facility ensures that even in times of conflict and war, vital emergency responses remain uninterrupted and lives are saved.
The Center Features:
- Fortified, Missile-Proof Construction: Ensuring 100% operational capacity even during active missile fire.
- Israel’s Second-Largest Dispatch Center: A high-tech hub to coordinate life-saving rescues 24/7.
- Regional Logistics Hub: A centralized base for the instant deployment of medical equipment and medics.
- Volunteer Headquarters: Advanced training facilities and boarding units for our first responders.
What we’re doing now:
As Israel navigates this unpredictable and unstable period, KKL-JNF remains alert and ready to answer the call, while simultaneously focusing on long-term recovery:
- Restoring Homes: Funding immediate infrastructure repairs for homes and neighborhoods hit by missile strikes.
- Support for the North: Delivering financial aid and logistics to vulnerable communities across the Galilee.
- Respite: Providing educational programs and essential activities for displaced families and at-risk youth in vulnerable areas.
- Protecting Wildlife: Providing emergency veterinary care at the Agamon Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (AWRC) for animals wounded and displaced by the conflict.

A Lifeline for the Western Negev
KKL-JNF is proud to partner with United Hatzalah, Israel’s largest all-volunteer emergency medical organization, whose 6,500 volunteers provide immediate, lifesaving care across Israel 24/7. This partnership builds on the heroism of October 7 – when their volunteers treated thousands of wounded and helped save countless lives – and continues KKL-JNF’s century-long mission of standing with Israel in its times of greatest need.
To ensure this critical response remains unbreakable, KKL-JNF is funding a new fortified, missile-proof Emergency Command Center in Sderot. This 1,200-square-meter facility will house Israel’s second-largest dispatch center and a regional logistics hub, providing a high-tech lifeline for tens of thousands of residents across the Western Negev.

We are Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael–Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) and since 1901, we have been developing the land of Israel and strengthening the bond between the Jewish people and its homeland.
